Been with Dr Thaen for about 3 months and it’s been a great blessing to have found her during this time in my life. Typically I hear a lot a stories about how therapists do not listen and don’t give you tools to work with during crisis. That wasn’t the case with Dr Thaen. I could talk for 30 mins and she heard every word I said. Gives me her input and tools to use to combat my crisis and it works. I’ve shared some of her tools with friends and it even worked for them. What ever you may be going through, I’m sure Dr Thaen can help. If not, I’m sure she can lead you in the right direction. I was looking to begin therapy for the first time in my life, and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Saelee and her practice. She is professional, patient, and receptive. She begins each session with a very welcoming energy, and she lets you choose the pace and direction of each session. Dr. Saelee also prioritizes your feedback, and I found that she applies your feedback as soon as you share it with her. Thaen was my therapist for about (maybe over!) a year. We had to end our sessions due to changes in my insurance, and it has been bittersweet ending having to close the chapter on our client-therapist relationship. But I am so happy for the next people who have the greatest pleasure to have Thaen as a therapist. Thaen has helped me immeasurably understanding my identity and power as a person of color.
